The Witcher 3 May Not Run at 1080p for Current-Gen Consoles

One upcoming AAA title may not be running at the highest resolution on the Xbox One and PlayStation 4 according to Gamespot.

Eddie Makuch, who is an Assistant News Editor at Gamespot, published an article this morning depicting the news. Tomasz Tinc, who is the CD Projekt Red marketing manager, told Gamespot that the game is constantly being expanded, and a final resolution has not been determined. 

Tinc then goes on to refer to what Jose Teixeira said, who is the visual effects artist for the Witcher 3, talking about how the engine team is trying to get the most out of the console that they can. 

The Witcher 3: Red Hunt is about the Geralt of Rivia tracking the Witcher's Path during a war with Nilfgaard. The action role-playing hack and slash game is set to release on February 25, 2014.
