PlayStation Home, which was launched as Sony's clone of Second Life, is now shutting down in Japan and Asian territories on March of 2015.
Home began beta testing in 2008, and has been a broadcast location for Sony's press conferences and special events. The service is free-to-play, but the items that can be used cost money. Speaking of the items, none will be sold anymore after September 24, 2014.
So far, it has not been announced that Home will shut down in North America and Europe.
