(Destiny Beta Logo)
From 4 p.m. CDT to 6 p.m. CDT today, Destiny will be allowing users to all access another mission of the Destiny campaign.
In the limited amount of time, players will play a mission in the beta that is not actually located on Earth. Instead, the sixth mission will be located on the moon. The mission, titled the Dark Beyond, is about following the path of a Guardian who went on a journey to get into Hive Fortress.
For playing the mission, gamers will receive XP and a special weapon upgrade. But the biggest reward will come in the form of a nameplate that can be transferred over to the full game when it's released.
So go turn on your consoles, and embark in "the most important moment" of the trial period according to Bungie's DeeJ. Remember that a large sum of people will be playing alongside you, so be patient if bugs/glitches occur.
